Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

Alright so I might be in England and I might have celebrated by eating a disgusting amount of peanut butter and jam caked rice cakes BUT that does not diminish the fact that it is Canadian thanksgiving.

So to celebrate I thought I'd post this recent pic of one of my Canadian favorites, the ethereal Coco Rocha with Zac Posen (who I slightly hate, due purely to the fact that in a moment of insanity I bought one of his dresses.... lest we not forget I am unemployed.... in a size two.... TIP: there are certain things you should NOT do when you're feeling super slim- big ticket purchases are one of those... needless to say the dress has been worn once.... which is shockingly the same number of times that it's zipper has broken....) today at New York's 49th Annual Film Festival as they arrived for 'My Week With Marilyn'.... and don't even get me started on how excited I am for that.

Coco Rocha's Wedding

So Coco Rocha's wedding was probably one of the most gorgeous things I have ever had the pleasure of viewing (second hand, of course).

Not only were they kind enough to release pictures for all us fashionphiles to perv over BUT they also released a video for us to watch. I know!!!!! ♥ them.

Check out the fabulous photos below. The dress p.s. is by Zac Posen and I'm pretty sure that there's nothing that I don't love about it.... the fishtail, the ruffles- it's fabulous.

If only I had received this..... One can dream.
Her beautiful balletic reception dress. She looked absolutely stunning, such poise.
Probably my favorite picture. It's just such a beautiful image and it really shows off the fishtail skirt.

Coco Rocha: Street Style Segment

A style tip that I try to adhere to: if wearing all black try to include a pop of color through your shoes.
Coco with her bff, model turned photographer, Behati Prinsloo. Adore the messy beach hair.
Okay so call it a Blair Waldorf moment but I adoreth a good bow in the hair.
Coco and husband James Conran in a photo taken by Behati Prinsloo.
A super cool way to rock an ethnic print dress ie. in combination with opaque black tights, black shoes and a black blazer.
Have I mentioned how nice it is to see pale skin!
Adore fun colored Balenciaga bags AND tiny dogs = win, win, win.
Another photo of Coco and James taken by Behati- stunning.
this photo. Such a stunning look. A great fun leather jacket.
 Great play on proportions.
I ♥ when she rocks the red lips. Keyness!
So I kind of hate Louis Vuitton bags (I know, just putting it out there) also so glad to see flared high waited jeans are coming back. It is NOT Charlies Angels esque I swear, it can be modern.
I pocket squares. They are the bomb and they are the only reason why I would want to be a man. As that is not possible and I really REALLY really like being a girl (beyond the whole pocket square sitch) I love to see girls rocking a pocket square. Not going to lie I haven't had the balls to do it but I'm working up the courage.

Coco Rocha- Favorite Editorials

So Coco Rocha is a personal favorite of mine because she is Toronto born and British Columbia raised. I don't think you could get a more perfect Canadian upbringing than that. She is stunningly beautiful with a vivacious and charismatic personality, she is also incredibly well spoken and bright. She is one of the few models who has spoken out against the industry, during their career, having been interviewed by the Associated Press in regard to eating disorders in models (read more here). She also has an AWESOME blog which every fashion lover ought to check out (click here!)

Anyways back to the stunning.... check it out for yourselves

I just feel like her photos ALWAYS are so full of energy and imbued with such interesting lines. She  really knows how to display clothes and make her body interesting, what more could you want from a model?
