Our city girl Olivia came in at number 9 on Teen Vogue's annual Best Dressed list. Teen vogue: "Mixing classic sophistication with a hint of youthful, downtown edge, with her endless closet, she's redefined party dressing and makes it look oh so easy."

She also earned herself a place in this year's whowhatwear best-dressed list as "Most Fashionable Fixture".
So i think we're not the only ones who like her style :)

LBD

The little black dress is an essential piece every women needs to have in her wardrobe. And Olivia has a few of them! She just adds some heels, a clutch, a bracelet and earrings. (no statement necklaces this time) As finishing touch she wears red nail polish. This is a look Olivia has opted for more than once! Very simple but always stylish.

Lovely in Lace

When wearing lace, Olivia likes to keep the rest of her outfit simple by accessorizing minimally. She's wearing all black items but keeps the outfit interesting by playing with different materials like fur and leather.

Fur Trend

No doubt fur has become popular again. It was seen all over the runways as a major trend for fall. I don't know if these are real or faux, but Olivia has been wearing plenty of fur, from vests, scarves to coats. A bit of (faux-)fur gives a warm and chic feeling to a simple outfit. Hate it or love it?

Yellow and Black

When you want to be noticed, wearing yellow is an option. This bright color holds the eye instantly. But what do you think of the combination with black? Do you love it, or does this remind you too much of a bee?

Jewelry

Olivia is known for wearing statement jewelry pieces. She has been collaborating with one of her favorite designers, Roberta Freymann on a new jewelry line. (take a look at these amazing Roberta Freymann necklaces in candy shades and turquoise)

Nude colours

Like i've mentioned before, Olivia wears a lot of nude colours. Here are two more looks that show how to mix this trend. The first look is very soft and feminine. The second look is a bit more edgier, wearing a leather skirt and studded sandals.

Autumn reports, 2010 projects

Wow, it’s been a while since my last blog!
But I’m glad to come back with fresh news to share and some good ones.

Actually I had taken a long break from screenwriting and film business, I really needed to free my mind to be able to come back with fresh ideas, the first good news is that I can’t wait to write again!
The second good news is that I’ve just signed on to adapt a horror novel by James Willits called « The programmer« . James recently contacted me through myspace and sounded very enthusiastic about my work, I’m impatient to explore his novel and create a compelling screenplay and glad to start with this adaptation, and a horror story that will let me to unleash my dark side! (smiles)

Regarding my 2010 projects, I have written down several log lines and I’m currently working on some synopses which I will use for several thrillers in 2010.
One my ideas, was one strange story that came to me in dreams, a very Hitchcockian
Story line, with many twists and turns. I believe it there will be very limited locations and only a very intense suspense and 3 leading characters.
I’m also working on the plot for a fantasy adventure and a supernatural thriller and of course I still have several screenplays to promote.

Black and Blue

Lately, one of the trends in colour combinations is black and blue. Olivia follows the trend but the items she wears are rather classic. It's more the way she combines all those pieces that makes these two outfits special.

Another girl that follows this trend is Lauren Conrad. Her interpretation of the trend is a little bit younger i think..

The cursed videotape

A group of three newly graduated high-schoolers were planning a sleepover party as a "last summer party". They decided to rent a video late at night and could not find a main retailor that was open. They eventually found a local retailor that owned a small private shop. The girls could not decide on a movie so one of them went to the clerk to ask her opinion. The woman told her that she had just the thing for them and disapeared into a back room behind the counter. The girl sees a boxless un-labled tape on the counter and reaches toward it out of curiosity. Just then the woman returns and slaps her hand over the tape, pulling it away. She smiles and says that it isn't anything she would be interested in. The girl asks what it is and the woman replies that it is just a "homevideo". The other girls agree to rent the suggested tape and are renting it when the woman exclaims that she left her extra cash in the safe in the back. She goes into the back and the girl who asked for her help swipes the tape and puts it in her purse. Later, when the girls are ready to watch the tape they rented, the other girl tells them about the tape she stole from the counter and convinces them that they should watch it, thinking it could be a "sex tape" and they could profit from blackmailing the woman. They laugh and agree to put in the tape. They slide it into the VCR and the power goes out, except for the TV, which begins playing the tape. It shows the woman from the store tied to a wooden stake surrounded by angery men and women. The stake is set fire and the woman begins to scream maniacally. The people yell out things like "Burn the witch!" and "This is your punishment for your black magic!" Then the burning woman laughs and yells out a curse, that everyone who witnesses her death will face their own in two days time. She laughs and the VCR screeches and cuts out. The girls sit in the dark for a while until the power comes back on. They agree that they should return the tape immediatley. When they arrive at the location of the store, it is gone, only an empty lot. Two days later, when the authorities are investigating their deaths, and inspector notes that they were burned to death, but that nothing around them is even singed. The only sign of a fire was in the trash can, which was put out earlier and looked like it was intentionally set on fire. Everything inside it was distroyed, except for a blank tape, which wasn't even touched.

Leggings

Olivia wears leggings on a regular basis. In the day she wears her leggings with flats, a warm coat and a big bag. In the evening, she switches the flats for a pair of heels and spices things up with a clutch and some nice piece of jewellery.

CYBER HUNT

Recently received this poster for "Cyber Hunt", the science fiction movie i co-wrote that is now in pre-production with director David Winning attached.

Principal photography should begin in 2010 and i'm currently receiving exciting news from producer Jerry Seward, who also co-wrote the movie, alongside a third screenwriter.
I've co-written this screenplay several months ago, one of my first assignments and i was very proud to be chosen to be part of that project (being a great fan of science fiction stories myself), i'm also very happy they kept my "cybert-addict" plot!

autumn is in town

Olivia's wardrobe is slowly transitioning from summer into winter. She's wearing warm, comfortable fabrics in beige and grey. Basic colours but with a typical Olivia touch.

She's wearing a missoni dress, camel Louboutin shoes and her favorite Chloé purse. The big golden belt highlights her figure.

A simple, yet ellegant dress with a studded jacket. One of Olivia's Style Rules: " In every outfit, I always try and incorporate a single trend, but in a subtle way."

A grey trouser suit doesn't look boring at all when you mix it with yellow shoes!
