Glitz and Glam!

Olivia in a Matthew Williamson dress, with a vintage Hermes clutch and Kurt Geiger shoes.

Olivia is a master in mixing and matching fabrics. Just the right amount of sparkle adds a different dimension to a classic black dress. (Never) too much glitter?

Gold

Black is always flattering, but when you dress up the black with a touch of timeless gold, you’ll add instant glam to your outfit. Black and gold make a statement, this combination is simply chic when keeping it subtle. Which outfit is your favorite?

PS: Don't you just love the statement necklace in the third outfit?!

Living in NYC

Watch a really nice video about Olivia's hot spots in New York City here. Recently Olivia moved from her apartment in Tribeca to Brooklyn. Read about her old apartment in this previous post. And here are some extra pictures of that place.

A start of 2010 full of surprises.

The year 2010 opened with a pretty busy schedule. I’m currently working on putting together the second draft of my new screenplay « the programmer » a thriller in the vein of « the silence of the lambs », based upon the horror novel by talented writer James Willits, actually « the programmer » is one of the most exiting screenplay I’ve been working on, since as you all know, my first love is thrillers, suspenseful and dark atmospheres.

I hope to submit the screenplay to Jamie in the next few days, to see what he thinks of my vision of his book. I truly enjoy working for him, because he really respects my writer’s sensibility and lets me take the time to create, as I really want to do justice to his book, and keep its terrifying essence in order to capture it in the script.

I’m also still pitching my existing screenplays, which in this recession time, does not appear to be an easy task. However, I have had an interesting connection with a young and dynamic production company, for a supernatural thriller. At first, the producer replied she was very interested in pursuing the project and was very partial to it, due to personal reasons, but she had to forward the screenplay, to the other producer in the company, apparently the person dealing with the financial aspects of production, I waited several weeks, before following up with her, and unfortunately, the company already have several projects lined up with a similar budget, so mine will have to wait. A pity! I was really close to a spec sale. But I accept it as part of the game, and I’m feeling much more prepared to this kind of situations and disappointment now.
The producer still really loves the concept of my script (a good aspect to sell a script) and wants me to keep in touch with her, but in the meantime, I hope to find another production company as interested as her in the script, a film takes years to get produced, and I’m not interested in putting my eggs in the same basket.

Regarding the good surprise, one of the producers I have been working with several months ago, got back in touch with me concerning 3 screenplays I have written for him, I really thought the films were dropped due to serious personal issues he had to cope with one year ago, but apparently he’s back at work, and close to a deal with universal studios. So I keep my fingers crossed!

Meanwhile, I still have several ideas in mind to develop new screenplays and still a lot to do to sell my existing screenplays. As a consequence, I can’t spend too much time online, but I’ll do my best to keep you updated on what’s happening in my writer’s life as soon as possible!

Thanks for reading and thanks for the support!
