ALL STARS ACTORS REUNITED IN THE SAME PICTURE

Life of Ryan

So today I was watching Life of Ryan and going to say- if I was Ryan Sheckler I would totally buy one of these boards. Ben Watts + skateboard..... gnarly (I am not even cool enough to write that without feeling like a dick just fyi- at this point I feel like I absolutely MUST point out that I'm a 24 year old female who has never skateboarded in her life).

A Millie Moment

So many of you may know that I am a BIG fan of Millie Mackintosh and I was rather heartbroken when she and Hugo broke up. HOWEVER I am now celebrating as she has bounced back, with the rather unexpected choice of Professor Green. The publication of her romance with him has also coincided with the revitalisation of her after a month and a bit of really horrid choices. It was all going completely tits up before but luckily she is not back on track and that should be celebrated..... after her failings are pointed out.

Alright so here we have Millie on November 2nd mixing up proportions with to the knee boots and a mini. Going to call this a disaster. I imagine it was probably better with the coat that undoubtedly went over it, which was likely black- making the fur stole a nice winter accent; however, sans coat it just all looks like a mess. The stole has to go and then heels just would have made it alright. Sadly though as is its just completely dowdy- the lack lustre and limp hair didn't help it.

Now we have Millie on December 6th and it appears she's got momentarily confused for the night and thinks she's in 'The Only Way is Essex' (hair extensions, bouncy curls, ridiculous tan and spandex clothing). I wouldn't mind the look terribly but for the tango tan which makes her essentially the same colour orange as her dress; moreover, I'm going to say stroppy heels are always best avoided- regardless of how skinny your calves are- UNLESS you're wearing tights (and only because then the strap somewhat blends in, ergo its inherent hideousness is masked). Obviously I would be a bitch if I didn't point out that regardless of all these faults I would still kill to look like this.

This I have to say is the worst. January 19th and I have no idea what she's wearing- bar for there is never an excuse for anyone, anywhere, at any time to wear this. However, I will blame it all on Cagie- albeit whilst admitting that just because Caggie dresses like a thirteen year old girl from Minnesota whose been unleashed in New York for the first and only time is no excuse for Millie to dress that way- or to be at all influenced my the pseudo tennis bopper.

February 5th- finally everything starts to turn around. I won't deny it- this is drab, but importantly it is also not offensive. This marks the moment everything took a dramatic turn for the better.

And finally here we have her three most recent public appearances- SUCH a change for the better. Perhaps I'm biased but I can really imagine her morphing into an Elizabeth Hurley public persona. Potentially doing some presenting or writing. I think she needs a bit of help though with the styling- just to give her an upmarket but contemporary and youthful look. She has a tendency to veer into the slightly cheap, which needs to stop- she also needs some better footwear. However, watch this space- I think this girl is going somewhere.

Hair Envy

So a few weeks ago (actually I can be precise- it was four weeks yesterday, the date is pretty much etched in my brain) I endured a horrific assault on my hair, courtesy of 'The Nail Place' on 32 Musa far Adua Street in Lagos and at the hands of Jonathon- or as I like to call him 'my tormenter'. It was a crime which left me with rocking what my boyfriend likes to call 'the gender neutral pageboy'- suffice to say the hairstyle will not be taking off globally.

To give you a glimpse of what this butcher did he essentially divided my hair into two layers. Trimming the ends and then separating half the head (think if you will what you would do to make a half pony tail) then cut that section two inches shorter- leaving my with two very clear layers. Basically I have an apartheid situation going on between the crown and the nape. However, the horror did not end there. Despite the lack of rhyme or reason for his first offence he then committed a second. He parted my hair in the middle and then took a four inch wide section on the left side and cut it to just below my earlobe and then did the same to a one inch section on the right. It's very much a grown out bangs look/ Gerri Halliwell in the 90s/ Jonathon 'the lebanese butcher's' crimes against my head part two.

Anyways, as you might have noticed it's been four weeks and although it's growing out.... FINALLY---- I actually got a weave the next day, not gonna lie. Only kept it for a day but it helped to briefly numb the pain (alright.... so admittedly I might be feeble but I did definitely puke and then dry when I got home from the crime scene- or as some call it 'Strands' next to 'The Nail Place' at 32 Musa far Adua Street..... ps. I hope I have made my disdain for the institution perfectly clear at this point)----- I am still distraught and that sadness only grows when I see pictures of lovely, brown, even hair such as this.

I wouldn't trade the woman her fiancee but I would gladly take her hair..... fair and probably smile. But I'm mostly concentrating on the hair here.

Maybe it's the fact that I am so sensitive to good hair.... given my situation- but I also wanted to point out that Kim Kardashian's hair is looking exceptionally good of late. Now granted these pictures were taken on Tuesday and Wednesday during her more than 24 hour date with Kanye West and granted Kanye West is a SUPER huge, massive, earth shattering douche bag of epic proportion but he appears to be having a fantastic effect on her hair- which I, obviously, am massively a fan of. It just looks so big and bouncy.

...... and just finally because I can't bring them up and not mention it- how awful would their children be!!!!!!! I imagine they would all be named after designers and clothes head to toe in branded baby garb.... I shudder to think.

The strange requests I get confronted with every day.

A few days ago, I received a message from a writer who had hired me to adapt their story into a screenplay…It was 2 years ago, and the writer came back to me, telling me that they have fabulous new ideas and wanted to change some elements of the script and re-write some scenes…
All of that for free naturally!

Sorry I don’t do that! I’ve written a screenplay based on their work 2 years ago and they were completely satisfied. If now, 24 months after, they have new ideas and want to rewrite some scenes they must hire me again, and pay me to write a second version!
I don’t do free re-writes and will never do!

Jordan.

ONE WEEK IN REVIEW

Hectic week, as usual…But good news on my projects. Things seem to be progressing, although I don’t want to celebrate with champagne until everything becomes official.

As you know, I’ve written dozen original screenplays during the past few years, in between writing assignments and translations for filmmakers and worldwide producers.
My work ranges from thriller, science fiction, fantasy to dramas and comedies.

I’ve devoted a lot of time to pitching these screenplays recently and two specific projects have attracted producers and talents interest:

« MISS CLARK » and « THE ADVENTURER »

Actresses Tara Cardinal and Maria Olsen loved Miss Clark screenplay so much that they attached themselves to the project. At the moment, I’m in talks with a director who has a long-term partnership with George Lucas under his belt and a studio specializing in fantasy films is interested in the project as well.

Regarding « The adventurer », I’ve already mentioned being in talks with the reps of an A. List talent and I have a wonderful actress, who read the script and fell for the leading female part Marguerite Harrison.
Things have progressed tremendously this week, as a producer attached himself to the project. His credits include working with big studios and on TV shows like « dancing with the stars. »
He just submitted the project to a big studio whose credits include Narmia.
And last but not least, a co-producer who worked on Ridley Scott’s « Robin Hood » starring Russell Crowe,  « empire of the sun« , « Batman » and « the lord of the rings » to name a few, is interested as well.

I’ll post updates as soon as get more news!
In the meantime, enjoy your week and be creative!

Jordan.

PARALLEL

A new project  based a on dream I've had a few hours ago. When I woke up, absotuely surprised by the sophistication of
the scene  I just had seen, I've decided to write down these incredible images as the basis for an upcoming story.
At the moment, I'm doing some researches around what will be my lead characters in "parallel".
And the project is going to become a short story first and possibly a novel in the upcoming months.

Using my dreams is not a  first time for me, and I believe writers unconscious keep working even when we are resting.
Trying to help us find the best subject matters!
About what I've seen in this dream "PARALLEL" will be a fantasy and creepy tale.

Jordan.

TMI

So I can take Jessica Simpson naked, pregnant and on the cover of Elle; however, for some reason this image is jut tmi- over the top- cringeworthy and makes me feel slightly sick..... it also looks like her legs have been photoshopped.... A LOT.

I want her legs....

Early Lara Stone

I recently came across this editorial of Lara Stone from September 2009's issue of Numero and just fell in love. Shot by Karl Lagerfield (.... would you shoot be if I admitted that I like him better as a photographer as a designer?) and entitled 'Room Service Couture' I think it is not only an amazing example of how good Lagerfield is behind the lens, but also of Ms. Ston's sheer presence- even before the celebrity and super model status endowed their treasures on her.

Kilmt + Fashian + Eniko

So I think my last post pretty much drove me over the edge. There is only so much celebrity posting one can do and when I start actually caring about Demi Moore's health I know I am perhaps too far gone. Hence why I have decided to take a brief intermission and return to the land of sanity. In particular I am listening to some sweet oldies tunes by 'The Turtles' (specifically, 'She'd Rather Be With Me'), trying to forget that I have been sitting at my desk doing NOTHING for the last five hours now (.... working in Nigeria is awesome!) and trying to regain some semblance of self respect.

ErgoI have decided to share this editorial from 25 Magazine's 2010 Spring/ Summer edition with you. Shot by Derek Kettela and featuring Eniko the editorial is titled 'Ghosts of Gustav Klimt'.... just in case the inspiration was not obvious to you.

I adore Klimt's work and was particularly enthralled upon my recent discovery that he designed and produced clothing for his models and friends. The clothes featured in many of his paintings are therefore not a figment of his imagination but rather pictorial examples of his sartorial skill. More than just the fact that the man was so unexpectedly talented I just want to point out how amazing the prints are, especially for that time- amazing.

Demi Moore

Alright so Demi Moore returned from Utah to a fanfare of how 'healthy' she is now looking. I'm going to go out on a limb here (... I know, how unlike me) and say that I think that's totally bullshit. I will couch my opinion by stating that it is entirely based on the grainy and fare away photos below HOWEVER what the photos do make clear is that Ms. Moore's legs are basically hollow- ergo perhaps this whole rehab situation wasn't a success, just a though.

.... on a completely different note- what is with the shearling rain boots?!

Charlotte Casiraghi+ Gucci= Love

Here is a sneak peek of Charlotte Casiraghi for Gucci. I am so excited to see the whole campaign- I can't even tell you. I just love her.

Angelina Jolie is truly boring at the 3rd annual Women in the World Summit

Lauren Goodger commits to remaining fat/.... not running the London marathon

Proving (yet again...) that she is in fact as disgraceful as I think she is, Lauren Goodger has pulled already rescinded on her New Year's Resolution to 'get fit and complete the [London] marathon' because she 'can't be bothered'...... yes that's right- I'm no genius but think this be just the kind of attitude which is making her fat. Just a thought.

So beautiful it hurts..... the Oliva Palermo and Johannes Huebl edition

It's like Breakfast at Tiffanys- 2012- in Paris. Palermo and Hebl style. They are so beautiful it's almost painful. She's like a modern day Audrey Hepburn but bitchy, without the acting talent and without the humanitarian aspect... and him, well nobody knows much about him. Except he looks damn good next to Olivia, particularly when in a suit. Special accolades go to the Charlotte Olympia pumps as well- big fan.

Firmly unimpressed

I remain firmly unimpressed by Kate Upton and these photos only confirm that. The girl has a great rack, I give her that but otherwise I have to say the whole thing is pretty mediocre. The body is just nothing special and the modelling, to be totally honest, is just completely mediocre.
