Two of my favorite fashionistas in close proximity

It's little A and the big P!

Hugo and Millie

So my viewing of the 'Made in Chelsea' finale JUST ended (I know I'm late but I've been busy!) and I'm GUTTED. I'm officially in love with Hugo Taylor and Millie Mackintosh, I think they are too adorable even for words. They both seem like such sweethearts and he is just SUCH a doll to her. I adore that he can't seem to keep his hands off her, even with the cameras rolling. Ergo I decided I dedicate this little post to them and their adorableness!

And to boot I thought that this song would be a fitting little choice for this montage it's called 'You and I' and it's by Ingrid Michaelson.

Doggy Street Style

Alright so for those of you who know me you will know that I am OBSESSED with my dog and by extension her wardrobe (a few pieces of which are featured in the included shots). Resultantly I have developed a fascination with doggy street style. As far be it from me to inflict a behind the times wardrobe on my favorite pooch! I therefore am warning those who are not fans of dog clothing to skip this post immediately an avert your eyes as you will likely find the upcoming images distressing if not revolting. For those of you (like me) who believe that dog fashion is just one of many ways to maintain a healthy and happy puppy (obviously a lower priority than copious exercise, a well balanced diet and oodles of love and attention... but a priority nonetheless) I hope that you will enjoy these images as much as I do and check out the blog where they came from. It's called 'Butters the Fashion Dog' and can be found here. I can't overstate enough though that although dogs can be fashionable they are NOT a fashion accessory and that should never be their purpose. Dogs should be athletes, companions and good citizens first and foremost- only after they have become a all rounded dog, a renaissance pup as it were, should an owner train them to become a fashionista. Otherwise it is not fair on the dog.

I am hoping to make doggy street style a larger component of this blog in the fall (it's my personal belief that just like the old adage no white after labor day, a well heeled dog should NEVER be clothed until well after labor day- the exception being a bath robe.... for the sake of modesty of course).

Skinny vs. Curvy (V Magazine the size issue featuring Crystal Renn)

I know what I think but I would be interested in a poll in these results! Does (or can) fashion really look better on a curvy model? Clothes to me just always look better on a slimmer individual although a clothes hangar is always preferable. I wish I could say that I liked curvier girls in fashion magazines but I don't know. I think Crystal Renn is beautiful but for some reason her figure springs into the foreground to me rather than the clothes.

.... also for some reason these pictures reminded me of this tune. I think it must have been Crystal's winding.... but here it is.... I know a bit random!

My Rosie Huntington- Whiteley moment continues

A celebration of Rosie... and her knickers.

ps. does the styling in this editorial remind anyone else of the styling in the music video for 'Can't Speak French' by Girls Aloud?

Also while we're on the subject everyone should have a listen of Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine's rare cover of the tune (give it a minute, I know it starts a bit softly in the beginning but it is definitely a treat for the ears and a kick to hear her covering Girls Aloud).

Made in Chelsea Finale!

I decided to post some photos of the 'Made in Chelsea' finale party in honor of the fact that I am watching the season finale of 'Made in Chelsea' as I type. I also thought that I would take this opportunity to grace you with a few choice thoughts as the episode goes down...

- ADORE Hugo, I actually find him incredibly personable and have decided that I find him rather attractive and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how attached he and Millie are. He ALWAYS has his arm around her and I find it SO cute (I also think that she's looking AMAZING- remains my fav, undoubtedly).
- the fact that Spencer carries TWO pocket squares at all time actually increases my estimation of him.... his taste in women however serves to temper that slight increase. What is with his infatuation with (a) very foreign looking women (b) dull and distinctly average girls (*cough* Caggie...)
- cringeworthy dating behavior on behalf of Ollie (although I adore the fact that he uses 'Will and Grace' as his gay dating handbook). I thought that admitting to painting on abs with eyeshadow, carrying eyelash curlers and plying on fake tan in public would be his low point BUT even he surprised me with his horrible chat on his date. Note to self- things to avoid discussing/doing on a date: discussing the film Caspar AND it's score, humming, asking how your date's wee was (SUPER cringe)
- Mark Francis tries SO hard to be posh that it actually looks painful.
- Francis: just a disaster. If you're so naff that you need a life coach being naff IN FRONT of your life coach ON CAMERA does not ameliorate the situation. How did someone with such poor conversation
and social skills end up on tv? I pray that he is cut next season. He is undoubtedly the weak link.
- can't BELIEVE that Agne agreed to go out with Francis.... has she no self respect?! Oh wait... she doesn't we already knew it but at least it's been confirmed now! I didn't think she could fall any lower from when he said that he didn't think she was cheap but implied that she was a whore BUT now she has. Great going girl......
- I hope British men are listening to Cheska and her words of wisdom, women DO like being dominated every once and awhile.
