So right now I am in the country away from civilization which means:
(a) my internet went out last night during a storm (I know apparently that still happens outside of civilization) and I pretty much almost died. It's pathetic how often I checked to see if it returned.... like every five seconds. You'd think that I might have actually got some work done on my thesis but pretty much no. I was suffering from internet withdrawal and it was painful!
(b) my nails are a MESS I forgot to bring any of my nail care stuff with me and pretty much the one reason I'm excited to get back to the city (now that this internet debacle is sorted!) is to take care of my little piglets. For some reason this picture just seems to drive that point home!
